our process

 We start with a conversation about the property, the idea and what you’re hoping to create. This helps determine whether the project is a good fit. 

 Projects begin with a paid site consultation to understand the property, discuss possibilities and establish an initial direction 

 If we decide to move forward, conceptual design is commissioned as a separate phase. I develop the creative direction through sketches, material references and precedent imagery.

Design work is conceptual and focuses on form, material, placement and overall experience. Technical construction documents, engineered plans and comprehensive landscape plans are handled by the appropriate design professional when required.

 Once a direction is established, I develop the scope and proposal for fabrication and installation. A deposit reserves the project and begins material procurement.

Then Build → Completion.
